Grain Trader

We a welcome to join our team an international grain trader to complement our global trading operations based in the EU, with a specific focus on growing our European grain trading, freight transportation and supporting our grain demand European Union.

Responsibilities:

• Build/maintain relationships with respective brokers, clients, and suppliers
• Pitch trade ideas: cash, futures, and options
• Developing new trading opportunities and supply sources
• Ensuring close cooperation with the operations and logistics team to ensure timely trades
• Proactively sourcing new business opportunities
• market coverage; Analyse open demand
• Combine market research with price analysis
• Develop and extend our grain trading focusing on European Union needs and demands

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in the grains sector
• Fluent English and Polish Languages
• Experience working in a commodity organization
• Industry knowledge and familiarity with the commodity market; solid understanding of EU activities
• Logistics, Customs and International Freight
• Master’s degree preferably in agricultural Economics, Agricultural Business, or Agriculture Sciences
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel
